Program to celebrate 19 years since the Enthronement of the Patriarch of Romaniatranslated

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the Romanian Orthodox Church celebrates 19 years since the enthronement of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel as Patriarch. On this occasion, between 09:00-11:00, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in the Patriarchal Cathedral.

After the Divine Liturgy, at 11:00 am, a Doxology will be held in the Patriarchal Cathedral, as thanksgiving to God for the blessings he gave to the life of the Romanian Orthodox Church during the 19 years of patriarchal ministry of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.

Then, at 12:00, in the Europa Christiana hall of the Patriarchate, a solemn reception will be organized, which will be attended by the prelates, members of the Metropolitan Synod of the Diocese of Wallachia and Dobrogea, members of the Permanent Council of the National Ecclesiastical Council and members of the Permanent Council of the Episcopal Center of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
