In an emotional atmosphere, today, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Holy Church of the Four Saints in Alykos, the exodus Mass of the blessed Archpriest Fr. Christos Pappa, one of the clergy who connected their ministry with the reconstruction of the Orthodox Church in Northern Epirus during the period after the fall of communist regime. Father Christos Pappas was the first Northern Epiroite to be ordained a priest by the blessed Archbishop of Albania, Mr. Anastasios, in 1991, being the first ordination of the late Primate of the Church of Albania.
