Sounds like a solid gathering. Nice to see 2,400 young people actually showing up for the Liturgy in the National Cathedral, especially the first one of the year. The Patriarch’s focus on family challenges hit home—my wife and I deal with that every day raising our two girls.

It is good that 2400 young people came to the cathedral and attended the first liturgy. Patriarch Daniel's words about the family are just right, my son and his wife are raising two children now, and we are definitely not lacking in daily challenges. I hope they will keep this spirit even after that.

It's good that your son is raising children with a family, Maya. My daughter is also raising two children and the biggest challenge is really to attend the evening prayers together. I hope the words of Patriarch Daniel will encourage them too.
