Bukombas Chrysostomos: "With their rubles, the schismatic Russians are shooting at the souls of Africans"translated

We respect the Saints of Russia who adorn our Church. We respect the faith of the Orthodox Russian Christians, who resisted the seventy-year (1917-1991) atheistic regime.

But we cannot agree with the unorthodox positions represented by the Moscow Church Leadership. They question the Ecumenical Synods, because they did not take part.

They question the Fathers of the Church, slandering them, that the Greek Theologians altered the Christian Faith with Greek philosophy.

They boast that only the Russians understood the faith of Christ. They boast, that Russian piety is the true Christian piety.

With this audacity and arrogance, they question our Ecumenical Patriarchate and do not commemorate our Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew.

With this audacity and arrogance they question and do not commemorate the Patriarch of Alexandria Mr. Theodoros.

With this arrogance they bless the invasion of Ukraine with weapons.

With this conceit they invaded Orthodox Africa with the ruble.

They have no teaching, no catechism, no mission. They only hand out rubles.…
