Diocese of Kortsas: One year since the election of Metropolitan Anastasiostranslated

The one-year anniversary of his election was celebrated today by the Metropolitan of Koritsa, Mr. Anastasios, together with his close associates and clergy of the Holy Metropolis.  His Eminence celebrated the Divine Liturgy this morning at the Metropolitan Chapel with the clergy wishing many years and a long pastorate to the Pastor of Kortsa.

Metropolitan Mr. Anastasios continues the pastoral and missionary work in this historic Metropolis of the Church of Albania which was initially founded by the blessed Archbishop Mr. Anastasios after the reconstitution of the local Church dissolved by communist atheism and then, from 1998 until March 2025, continued the present Archbishop Mr. Ioannis during the years he was Metropolitan of Koritsa.

Continuous liturgical presence and social contribution are the main pillars of the pastoral presence of the Reverend Mr. Anastasios during this first year of his pastorate.
