On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the commemoration of the miracle in Corfu of our holy father Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythoundos, the Miracle Worker, was celebrated in the eponymous chapel of Tharrounia - Aliveri with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy by the stewards Aristidis Rousso, vicar of Diremias Kremastos Manikias and Georgios Kouseris Vicar of Tharrounia. In the Divine Liturgy, the family of the aedimous founder, Mr. Spyridon Bourikas, as well as the Doctor from Tharounia and the former Director of the Hematology Department of the Agios Savvas Hospital of Athens, Mr. Nikolaos Giannoulis, participated.
