Meeting of the Metropolitan of Preveza with the Volunteering Secretariat of the NDtranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Nicopolis and Preveza, Mr. Chrysostomos, was visited by the Volunteering Secretary of New Democracy, Pisti Krystallidou, and the Coordinator of the Volunteering Secretariat in Preveza Prefecture, Konstantina Pliouta. At the heart of the meeting were volunteerism, social contribution and the possibilities of cooperation for initiatives that can mobilize even more citizens, especially young people.

The discussion highlighted the important social role played by the local Church over time, through structures and actions to support people in need, but also the power that the offering acquires when the Church, civil society and active citizens meet around a common goal.

The Secretary of Volunteerism, Pisti Krystallidou, presented to His Excellency the work and initiatives of the Secretariat, as well as the ongoing effort to strengthen the culture of volunteerism and create more opportunities for meaningful participation and contribution.

The meeting ended in a particularly warm atmosphere, with a common desire to explore specific synergies and actions in the next period.
