October 4: Saint Ierotheos, Bishop of Athens celebratestranslated

Today, October 4, the Church honors the memory of Saint Ierotheos, bishop of Athens, who was a member of the Parliament of the Supreme Court, like Saint Dionysios whom we celebrated yesterday, Saint Theodoros, bishop of Tamasos, as well as Saint John the Lampadistos the miracle worker. Agios Ierotheos: The divine first Bishop of Athens The city of Athens has been, since ancient times, the cradle of world civilization.
