Holy vigil in Nafplion for the memory of Agios Paisios of Agioreitostranslated

A holy vigil for the memory of Agios Paisios of Agioreitos was held with all pomp in the parish church of Evangelistria Nafplio, in the Holy Chapel of the same name located at the foot of the historic castle of Palamidi, on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The holy vigil was performed by the vicar of the church, protopresbyter Fr. Eleftherios Michos, who spoke about the life and work of the people-loving Saint of our church.
The holy vigil was attended by a large number of believers, mainly young people, who came throughout the night to honor their beloved Saint Paisios.
It should be noted that the chapel of Agios Paisios has been operating for two years and was built entirely with donations from pious believers.
It is a spiritual pole of attraction for believers from all over Greece who come every day to see the unique life-size statue of Agios Paisios up close.
