The Parish Celebrated and Honored the Patronal Feast of Saint Myrtidiotissatranslated

With brilliance and the presence of a large number of faithful, the Parish celebrated and honored the patronal feast of Saint Myrtidiotissa. At the Holy Church of Dormition of the Theotokos, where the Sacred Icon of Myrtidiotissa is preserved, morning prayers and the panegyric biseparchial Divine Liturgy concluded, presided by the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Messenia Gerontios Gabriel and assisted by the Metropolitan of Messenia Chrysostomos.

The Archpriests were overseen by the Protodeacon of the Holy Metropolis of Messenia Archimandrite Philippos Chamargias and clerics from the wider area, while the liturgy was supervised by the Protopresbyter of the Church and Episcopal Vicar of Pyle Archimandrite Eireneios Gougounis.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the established blessing of the Sacred Icon took place and a prayer was sent to the harbor of Pyle.
