From the holy Pilgrimage of Genesis, Timiou Prodromos (Damialis), it is announced that on the evening of Tuesday, July 14th and from 7:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. the Holy Chapel of the Holy Forerunner will be held in the cave-holy, pilgrimage Church of the Holy Forerunner, (Damialis) which is located on the central avenue of Kissamos and just before the port, under Rev. Our Metropolitan Mr. Amfilochiou. During the Holy Prayer, all the names (for health) gathered during the holy pilgrimage will be remembered. Every Tuesday is a day dedicated by our Church to the greatest of the Prophets, the Holy Forerunner. God's friendly people are invited to participate.

Good to see it's on a Tuesday evening again. I'll try to bring the names for health from my list after work if the kitchen shift ends on time. My older boy always asks why we pray to St John in that cave church specifically.

Good to hear the Tuesday slot is back, Matthew. I usually drop my own list of names in the box by the icon on my way home from the hospital shift. Does your boy still think the cave makes the prayers "extra strong" like he did last summer?
