Mourning in the Diocese of Bukomba for the sudden death of a young clerical candidatetranslated

The sudden death of 23-year-old Innocent Habibi, who died prematurely leaving his family in mourning, caused grief and emotion in the Orthodox community of Bukomba in Tanzania. Innocentios was the son of the blessed priest Pavlos Habibi, who fell asleep in 2021. He had graduated from the Priestly School of Bukomba, while he was a student at the College of Mwanza and at the same time a candidate for clergy.
According to the Holy Diocese of Bukomba and Western Tanzania, the young Innocent was dearly loved by all who knew him. He stood out for his morals and good character, he was a good singer and a studious student, while his progress to date created expectations for an important contribution both to the Orthodox Church and to the local society.
Strongly moved and in tears, the Most Reverend Bishop of Bukomba, Mr. Chrysostomos, celebrated a trisayo in memory of the young Innokentius at the Holy Church of Agia Eufimia in Kasamwa, Geita, where the Catechists' Seminary is currently operating.
