31 And just as you want people to do to you, you also do to them in the same way. 32 And if you love those who love you, what grace is there for you? For sinners love them with love. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what grace is there for you? 34 And if you lend when you hope to receive, what grace is that to you? For sinners and sinners lend in order to receive the same. 35 but love your enemies and do good and lend to those who do not despair, and let your reward be great, and be children of the Most High, for he is good to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be therefore good men, as the father of your good men is.
