New book by Metropolitan Nafpaktos: "Elderly Galaktia - The Seer"translated

"Old Lady Galaktia - The Seer" is the title of the new book by the Metropolitan of Nafpaktos and Agios Vlasios Mr. Ierotheos which was published by the Holy Monastery of the Holy Monastery of the Nativity of the Virgin (Pelagia).  His Eminence cites testimonies through her writings, her words, her life and the correspondence he had with her.

Galatea Kanakaki was born in Pobia Moirin Crete on March 5, 1926 to pious parents, Michael and Irene Kanakaki. Her father was a doctor and a merciful one, loved and respected throughout the region, he was a good man and a Christian.

Her grandfather on her mother's side, Papa-Nicolas Fustanakis, was a pious Priest, he was spiritually connected to the holy Elders of the Holy Monastery of Koudoumas, Parthenios and Eumenios, and with their advice and guidance, he not only became a Clergyman, but also remained in the middle life during of 66 years of widowhood, since his elder wife slept two years after their marriage. And from him Galatea received all its ecclesiasticism, which, as noted, came from Saints Parthenios and Eumenios of the Holy Monastery of Koudoumas.
