100 years since the diplomatic tour of Queen Maria in America, marked by the release of a tribute volume at the Cotroceni Palacetranslated

Cotroceni Palace, former royal residence, hosted on Tuesday the launch of a tribute volume dedicated to the centenary anniversary of Queen Maria's diplomatic tour in America. The aim of the sovereign was to strengthen the international recognition of Greater Romania.

The event was attended by the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, First Lady Mirabela Grădinaru, representatives of the diplomatic corps, academic and cultural figures, representatives of higher education institutions, as well as young Romanians from the country and the diaspora - including members of the "St. Nicolae" and "Blue Center" Local Scout Centers from Bucharest.

Published by Romania Student Tour and entitled "Regina", the volume brings together vintage images and contemporary creations made by 57 established photographers, laureates of the National Photogeographic Contest.
