Consecration of the altar with the holy relics of the Holy Martyr Eulogia in Bucharesttranslated

On Friday, October 2, 2026, His Beatitude the Patriarch of Romania, Mr. Daniel, two days before the local proclamation of her canonization. The Mass was held in the historic Chapel of Saint George the Great Martyr of the Patriarchal Residence, in Bucharest, in the presence of clergy and nuns.
The silver altar was made during the first half of 2026 in the Department of Artistic Metal Processing of the Holy Monastery of Pasarea, within the Workshops of the Romanian Patriarchate, and bears images of the Saint, as well as representations of typical events in her life.
After the Mass, the Patriarch Mr. Daniel referred to the life, the work and the end of the martyrdom of the Holy Martyr Eulogia, emphasizing especially her contribution to the preservation and confession of the Orthodox faith in a period of intense social and spiritual challenges.
