The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aegialia, Mr. Ieronymos, expresses his warm thanks to the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Mr. Nektarios Farmakis, for the start of the asphalting works on the road to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Makellaria With feelings of special joy and satisfaction, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aegialia, Mr. Ieronymos, expresses his warm and heartfelt thanks to the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Mr. Nektarios Farmakis, as well as to the competent executives and technical services of the Region, for the start of the asphalting and upgrading of the road access to the historic and Palaifati Holy Monastery of Panagia Makellaria.

The completion of the project will make access to the Holy Monastery safer and easier throughout the year, facilitating the faithful who come to worship the miraculous icon of Panagia Makellaria and get to know the valuable spiritual, historical and cultural heritage of this historic Monastery.
