The website of the Orthodox Community in Lithuania received a cyber attacktranslated

The community website ortodoskas.lt received a targeted and well-organized cyber attack, as a result of which it is currently not accessible. In collaboration with IT experts, all the necessary measures are taken to restore the operation of the website and strengthen its security.

So far there is no indication that the incident affected e-mail or other means of communication. "Therefore, you can continue to contact us via e-mail, social networks or phone," the urgent notice said.

The official website of the Patriarchate of Lithuania, obl.lt, is also functioning normally.

orthodoxas.lt is a community website created in 2012 dedicated to the Orthodox Church, its faith and life in Lithuania and around the world. During its fourteen years of operation, it has accumulated a rich archive of articles, translations, videos, sermons and other educational material. Today, the website and its content are edited by the community of clergy and faithful of the Exarchate.
