Nice to see Bishop Timotei serving the Liturgy there. I remember visiting Cernica years ago and the church built by Saint Calinic always felt especially peaceful. Thanks for the photos.

Yes, I also went to Cernica two years ago on the patron saint's day. The Church of St. Calinic really has a special silence, as if it pulls you to stay longer. Thanks for the pictures, Raluca, you can see that the job was beautiful.

Yes, that silence in the church of Saint Calinicus is really felt as soon as you enter. Last year, my wife and little girl also went to the church, and after the Liturgy we sat for almost an hour on a bench in the courtyard, without hurrying. I also thank Raluca for the pictures, they reminded me of the atmosphere back then.

Yes, that silence in the courtyard of Saint Calinicus is like a gift that you don't easily find in the city. This year I didn't make it, but last year I also sat on the same bench after work, with my rod in mind for a fishing spot by the lake. I also thank Raluca for the pictures, they really brought back the smell of fir and incense.

I visited Cernica myself back in 2018 and felt the same peace in that little church Saint Calinic built. The Liturgy must have been beautiful with Bishop Timotei there. Did you get to walk around the lake while you were there?

Yeah, that little church Saint Calinic built really does have a special quiet about it. I was there for the feast a couple years back and the Liturgy with Bishop Timotei felt very grounded, nothing flashy. Did you manage to visit the graves of the old monks while you were walking round the lake?
