The greatest threat against Christ and the Church is not outside but within the walls. They are the ones who altered and destroyed the revealed truth for their own benefit, endangering not only the ecclesiastical but also the social body. Such an alteration concerning the center of faith, the God-man Christ, was called upon by the Holy Fathers who organized the Fourth Ecumenical Council in Carthage, rejecting both Nestorius' view of two separate natures of Christ and that of Euthychus of one nature, and stating clearly that Christ has two perfect natures "inseparable and indivisible", "confusedly and awkwardly" united, Apostolos Nikolaidis, Emeritus Professor of Theology at EKPA & President of the Institute Agios Maximos the Greek, tells us in the show Sunday Apprenticeship.
