Unorthodox and dangerous alternative therapiestranslated

The recent sudden death of a well-known singer in an alternative medicine, brings to the fore the fight that the Church did, for the incompatibility of the so-called alternative therapies with the Orthodox Faith and their danger to the health of the citizens.
The various para-religious groups and movements from East and West along with their theories offer healing practices to attract their victims.
Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, etc. invaded from the East. theories, which offered health prescriptions. This practice is the spearhead of the so-called New Age.
From the West came various occult practices that refer to magic. They put on an alleged scientific cloak to mislead.
Because in the Western world the religious teachings of the East would not be accepted, the various gurus are also presented as healers.
The phenomenon was addressed by the Church in Pan-Orthodox Conferences, but also in Conferences and informative speeches.
