The Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Synod in Ioanninatranslated

On Sunday July 19, 2026, the day on which our Holy Church commemorated the 630 God-bearing Fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Synod, which met in Chalcedon, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ioannina, Mr. Maximos, went to the Holy Church of Agios Paisios of Saint Caiaphas, city of Ioannina. His Eminence officiated during the Orthro Service and presided over the Divine Liturgy.

Nicholas ParkerNice to see the memory of the 630 Fathers from Chalcedon being kept alive so far from home. The church of St Paisios in Kiafa looks like a good spot for it. Did Metropolitan Maximos say anything about the council in his sermon?
