Fr. Varnavas Yagou at the first Priestly Synod of the Metropolis of Ierissostranslated

On Thursday, the 17th of September 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the historic and majestic Metropolitan Church of Agios Stefanos Arnaia, following the invitation of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ierissos Mr. Theoklitos, the first Priestly Synod of the Holy Metropolis of Ierissos, Mount Athos and Ardameriou. All its Clergy came with great joy to Arnaia, the Historic Seat of the Local Church, to communicate both with their Bishop and with each other, recognizing that these blessed "societies" essentially contribute to the unity of the vicarious Holy Clergy and in addition offer a blessed ground and space to sow the Word of God and His will in the Priestly hearts and through them in the whole local George.

Invited as the speaker of the day was the Professor of the Holy Monastery of Agia Theodora of Thessaloniki and very dear to our Metropolitan, Pan. Chief Fr. Varnavas Yagou, Head of the Holy Church of Panagia Laodigetria of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki, following the blessing of the sept of the Pastor of the Most Holy Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Philotheos.
