Kyriakos Pierrakakis to Archbishop Hieronymos in the afternoontranslated

With the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Ieronymos will have a meeting this afternoon at the Holy Archdiocese with the Minister of National Economy and Finance and President of the Eurogroup, Kyriakos Pierrakakis. The meeting is scheduled for 5 pm, while it comes a day after the specialization of the economic measures announced by the Prime Minister at the 90th TIF.

J’espère que cette rencontre portera sur des aides concrètes pour les familles qui peinent à boucler les fins de mois après les annonces de la Foire de Thessalonique. Un ministre des Finances qui va voir l’Archevêque, c’est bien, mais on attend surtout des mesures qui arrivent vraiment jusqu’à nos paroisses.

I wonder if they'll talk about practical help for folks here in Greece who are still struggling with grocery bills after those Thessaloniki announcements. A meeting is fine, but let's see if it leads to something real for families.

Хотіла б, щоб після цієї зустрічі з архієпископом Ієронімом нарешті з’явилися конкретні допомоги на продукти для пенсіонерів і багатодітних, бо після оголошень у Салоніках ціни на масло і м’ясо так і не зупинилися. Міністр фінансів іде до владики — добре, але сім’ям треба не слова, а реальні гроші на кінець місяця. Подивимося, чи вийде щось путнє.
