The feast of Panagia "Odegetria" for the first time in Trikalatranslated

It is with great joy that this year, for the first time, the Virgin Mary "Odegitria" is celebrated in the Holy Pilgrimage of the Holy Anargyri of Trikala. From this year the holiday is established every year on September 20. Her Holy Icon, offered by the Professor of the Holy Monastery Xenophon, is a precious gift and reminder of the motherly presence of the Mother of God in our lives.

The festive events will take place according to the following schedule:

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19:

7:00 p.m.: Grand Solemn Hierarchical Vespers with vespers and the Divine Sermon, officiated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli Mr. Chrysostomos.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20:

7:00-10:00 a.m.: Orthros and High Priest Solemn Divine Liturgy of the Reverend Metropolitan of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli, Mr. CHRYSOSTOMOS.

6:30 p.m.: Vespers Metheortos and then the Holy Supplication to the Most Holy Theotokos the "Guide".

THE HOLY ICON WILL BE KEPT PERMANENTLY IN THE HOLY CHURCH

All celebrants and fellow Christians are requested to come and receive the grace and blessing of the Most Holy Theotokos.
