Metropolitan Nikita and Metropolitan Ignatius celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the Feast of the Veneration of the Life-Creating Cross of our Lordtranslated

On September 27, during the Seventeenth Week after Pentecost, on the Feast of the Veneration of the Life-Creating Cross of our Lord, Metropolitan Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk Nikita and Metropolitan Perm and Kungur Ignatius celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Krasnoyarsk.

The archpastors were assisted by: the head of the eparchial youth department, the rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity, protopriest Alexander Brizhan, and clergy from churches in Krasnoyarsk.

The liturgical singing was performed by the choir of the church. Metropolitan Perm and Kungur Ignatius presided over the prayers during the Divine Liturgy.

Special prayers and a prayer for Holy Rus were raised during the Liturgy. By the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, this special prayer is recited in all churches of the Russian Orthodox Church after every liturgical service.

The priest from the church, protopriest Vasily Yakovlev, delivered a sermon on the post-communion psalm.

After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Nikita performed a blessing over the Cross of our Lord. Following this, the clergy and laity paid homage to the Cross.
