Metropolitan of Ekaterinburg and Verhoyuzsky Eugene congratulated Pavel Alekseevich Astakhov, a "dear friend, statesman, writer, lawyer, television host, and Christian," on his 60th anniversary. In his max-channel post, the Metropolitan wrote:

– On the evening of Pavel's birthday, he gifted the audience in Christ the Saviour Cathedral with a performance—his father's biography. The poignant narrative about the path of children of war, "Lenny, or One of Five Million."

Again, he was moved and convinced: a country with such people, with such spiritual strength—cannot be defeated!

It should be recalled that in April 2023, lawyer, writer, and television host Pavel Astakhov presented Ekaterinburg audiences with a documentary investigation, an open confession, and a reminder of human frailty before God, forcing a new reconsideration of traditional questions posed by man to himself—documentary film "Sodom. The Lord's Judgment." In April 2025, the film "Babylon.
