Damascene of Aetolia and Acarnania to students for the new school year: Love and moderation in technologytranslated

The Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania, Mr. Damaskinos, addresses a fatherly message to the students of Primary, Middle and High Schools on the occasion of the start of the new school year 2026-2027, inviting them to face the new beginning with optimism, effort, love and responsibility. In his message to Primary school children, His Holiness urges them to "love your school and make it your second home", pointing out that school life does not only provide knowledge, but helps children become "not only better students, but also happier people". He places particular emphasis on the relationships between the students, expressing the wish that each class resemble "a small family", where everyone cares and supports each other. At the same time, it presents Christ as "the great Teacher of love" and invites the children to cultivate love through prayer and participation in the Church.
