Good that they agreed, but let's see concretely what they do: if they close the kiosks near the blocks or just put up posters in the school? Here in Craiova, we have seen many times how alcohol is sold to children at any time.

You're right, Alexandru, posters alone don't solve anything if sellers keep selling at all hours. Here in Sibiu, after they moved the kiosks further from schools and blocks of flats, we saw slightly fewer young people with bottles in their hands in the evening. Do you think random police checks would help more?

You're right, Alexandru, here in Chisinau, the same thing happens near my block in Botanica - children end up buying beer in the evening without being asked for their ticket. Do you think it would be better to force stores to keep a record of sales to minors so they can be clearly fined?

Well said, Alexandru, posters and words do nothing if the law is not applied. Here in Chisinau, I saw how a kiosk near my sister's apartment sold beer at all hours, until the serious controls began and they moved it. Do you think it would help to increase the fines for sellers who don't ask for the bulletin?

Yes, Corina, you're right, with us real controls change things more than posters. Increasing the fines would help, but I think it would be even more effective if the mayor's office forced the shops to keep an electronic register with the check of the bulletin, as was tried at a few shops in Cluj. Did you see in Chisinau if they managed to reduce sales to minors after those controls?
