Prikhody.ru 09/22/2026. The mothers of servicemen who died during a special military operation from the Tambov region appealed to all concerned to help in the construction of the church - the reconstruction of the Nativity Cathedral in the very heart of Tambov.

As noted in the proclamation, “it will rise in its historical place as a real church-monument” and the names of living and fallen soldiers will be carved on its walls.

“Our children and grandchildren need this church so that they know and honor the great feat, courage and love for the Fatherland that our relatives showed. Our “Maternal Initiative” is designed to unite all people for this good goal,” the document says.

Earlier, on May 29, 2026, as part of a spiritual and patriotic action to perpetuate the memory of the heroes of the Northern Military District on the territory of the “Garden of Memory” of the Sukhotinsky Znamensky Convent, the “Mother’s Initiative” was signed by over a hundred people.
