At the Cernica Monastery in Ilfov county, the opening of the symposium dedicated to the Burnt Rug and Father Andrei Scrima took place on Tuesday.
The inaugural session was preceded by the officiating of the Akathist of the Burning Wick in the "St. Nicholas" Church of the monastic settlement, where clergy, monks, theologians, researchers and people of culture were present.
