Preface In our time, and in the corresponding phase of the Technological Revolution, many times Man in front of the emblematic achievements of Science - par excellence in the field of Positive Sciences - moves between the two ends of a quasi-Manichean vector centered on the counterpoint between Man and the "Machine". And especially between the insincere admiration that leads to exaggerated estimates of the possibilities of modern Technology on the one hand and the ominous fear that cultivates painful, even eschatological, fantasies on the other.
