Greek FM Gerapetritis visits Greek Embassy during South Korea trip

Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis visited the Greek Embassy in Seoul during his trip to South Korea. During the visit, he met with the Ambassador and the staff of the mission, according to a post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on X.
Gerapetritis also visited the Joint Security Area (JSA) in the Demilitarized Zone, where he was briefed on the work of the United Nations Command.
“The visit highlighted the enduring bonds between Greece and the Republic of Korea, forged through Greece’s immediate response to the United Nations’ call by contributing thousands of servicemen to the Korean War,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on X.
“Their courage and sacrifice remain a lasting symbol of the two countries’ shared commitment to freedom and peace.”
