Bishop Benedict of Sălaj met with the preschoolers of the "Licurici" Kindergarten of the "Sfântul Nicolae" Orthodox High School in Zalău.

His Eminence gave the children icons with the Mother of God as a gift and took part with them in the activities of the program.

The representatives of the kindergarten explained in a post on the Facebook page the significance of the moment for the institution.

"It reminded us how beautiful it is to raise and educate children in a space where faith, love and care for one's neighbor are intertwined every day."

"God, bless our children and the entire community of the Orthodox High School," the representatives of the educational institution also sent.

"Licurici" Kindergarten is part of "Sfântul Nicolae" Orthodox High School in Zalău. The program combines artistic, musical and sports activities with the spiritual side through prayers, stories with a moral message and participation in church celebrations.
