With the blessing of the rector of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Vashkovo, Archpriest Vyacheslav Lobts, 5th grade students from the Ilyushinsky secondary school visited the church.

For many years now, the educational institution has had a tradition of cooperation with the Orthodox Church. The rector of the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, Archpriest Vyacheslav, often visits the school and conducts classes with children. The guys know a lot, but they rarely go to the church, and today’s excursion was with great interest.

Anna Antonovna Tsvetinskaya spoke about the significance of the church for a Christian, its structure, the meaning of icons, and the Bible. The children learned to light candles and tried themselves as bell ringers. And at the end everyone had a tea party in the refectory.
