On September 1, 2026, at the invitation of the director of school MBOU ASOSH No. 2, Irina Dmitrievna Kolybelnikova, the dean of the Aksai district, Hieromonk Vikenty (Svistunov), attended the solemn assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge.

Addressing the teachers, Hieromonk Vincent noted the importance and responsibility of their service, emphasizing that not only the quality of education, but also the formation of children’s interest in knowledge depends on the attentive and sensitive attitude of teachers.

The priest wished the parents patience and God's help in raising their children, noting the special role of the family in their spiritual and moral development.

Hieromonk Vikenty wished the students diligence in their studies, urged them to use their time responsibly and set priorities correctly, emphasizing that current work will become the basis for future achievements.

The rector of the St. Nicholas Church in Aksay, Priest Vladimir Chechanovsky, congratulated the students of gymnasium No. 3. The event was attended by the head coach of the Russian Greco-Roman wrestling team Nikolai Monov, as well as deputies of the Aksay settlement.

Thanks for sharing this. I especially liked how Fr. Vikenty spoke directly to the teachers about how their patience and attention shape a child's actual interest in learning — that's so true and easy to forget on a busy school morning. Our family will be praying for all the kids starting this year, especially the ones at АСОШ № 2.
