Meeting of CROCEU members at the "Orthodox Center Ambiorix" in Brusselstranslated

Brussels, September 17, 2026 – The members of the Committee of Representatives of the Orthodox Churches outside the European Union (CROCEU) met on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the "Ambiorix Orthodox Center" in Brussels, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Metropolitan of Belgium Mr. Athenagoras (Ecumenical Patriarchate).

The meeting was attended by the Most Reverend Bishop Tanagras, Mr. Apostolos, Director of the Office of the Church of Greece despite the European Union; the Reverend Propriests Mr. Sorin Selaru and Mr. Georgios Valcu, representatives of the Romanian Patriarchate in the European Institutions; the Reverend Propriest Mr. Stoyan Berbatov, representative of the Bulgarian Patriarchate despite the European Union, as well as Archimandrite Mr. Emilianos Hatzivasiliou and His Eminence Protopresbyter Mr. Pawel Cecha, from the Office of the Orthodox Church despite the European Union (Ecumenical Patriarchate).
