The Multipurpose Center of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand has reached the third stage of constructiontranslated

The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of Australia and New Zealand announces the continuation of construction works at the Cultural-Missionary Center "Priest Dumitru Stăniloae", at the Episcopal Chapel and at the premises for the Romanian school in Melbourne.
With the support of the Department for Romanians Everywhere, which granted funding of 2 million lei, the project enters the third stage of construction, through which the first floor, the roof, cladding and decorative plastering, the access walkway, the external completion of the construction and structural elements, the installation of windows and doors will be completed.
The project is being implemented at the "Fountain of Healing" Monastery in Melbourne, an episcopal residence, located at 103 Porteous Road, Harkness (Melton West), in the Australian state of Victoria, and the current stage of the project runs from April 1, 2026 to November 20, 2026.
In a first stage, in 2024, the administrative steps, land preparation and pouring of the concrete slab were carried out, and in the second stage (2025) the structural and infrastructure works continued, including the construction of the ground floor and the floor between the ground floor and the first floor.
