The church of a re-established hermitage in the Roman and Bacau Archdiocese is beginning to take shapetranslated

The Lapoș Hermitage Church, re-established this year in the Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău, is starting to take shape, after the start of work on the new wooden place of worship.
The mayor of the Bacău city of Darmăneşti, Constantin Toma, announced the start of construction in a post on Facebook, after a visit to the construction site of the monastic settlement.
The Edil met with Father Abbot Efrem Docan and the construction team to discuss the next stages of the project.
Evoking the historical beginnings of the hermitage, Constantin Toma expressed his confidence that the new church will be able to be built with God's help.
"If Ioil succeeded, with the help of the Good God we will succeed too," said the mayor of Dărmănești.
A hermitage with almost three centuries of history The history of the Lapoș Monastery is linked to the monk Ioil, who arrived in the region in 1734.
The monastic settlement was re-established on June 1, the feast of the Holy Trinity, which also became the patron saint of the church of the hermitage.
The foundation stone for the new building was consecrated in July by His Holiness Father Teofil Trotușanul, Vicar Bishop of the Roman and Bacau Archdiocese.
