The Monumentum Association returned to Chisinau the bust of lawyer Emanuil Gavriliță, promoter of Romanian identitytranslated

The Monumentum Association inaugurated on Friday, in front of the central headquarters of the Chisinau Court, the bust of lawyer Emanuil Gavriliță, promoter of Romanian identity.

The bust, sculpted according to the sketch of the architect Mihail Andries, was installed in front of the Chisinau Courthouse and consecrated by a council of priests from the Metropolis of Bessarabia.

The inauguration benefited from the presence of the president of the Chisinau Court, Valeriu Arhip, the president of the Union of Lawyers from the Republic of Moldova, Anatolie Barbacar, and numerous members of the lawyers' guild.

The event was moderated by Mihai Cozniuc, and the artistic moments were provided by the Band of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police and the students of the "Vasile Alecsandri" and "Elena Alistar" High Schools in the city. The children recited poems dedicated to the Romanian language and the struggle for national identity.

Bine că au readus bustul lui Emanuil Gavriliță în fața Judecătoriei, acolo unde lucra. Mi-a plăcut că au fost și copiii de la „Vasile Alecsandri” și „Elena Alistar” care au recitat poezii despre limbă. Sper ca acum să stea liniștit la locul lui, nu ca înainte.

Bine că l-au readus în fața Judecătoriei, acolo unde a lucrat. Mi-a plăcut și soborul de preoți de la Mitropolia Basarabiei care l-a sfințit, parcă așa se cuvine. Copiii de la „Vasile Alecsandri” și „Elena Alistar” au recitat frumos, se vede că le pasă de limbă.

Bine că au pus bustul lui Gavriliță exact în fața Judecătoriei, acolo unde a muncit atâția ani. Mi-a atras atenția că l-au sfințit preoții de la Mitropolia Basarabiei, mi se pare firesc. Copiii de la „Elena Alistar” au recitat frumos, se vede că le pasă de istorie.
