Thank God that Bishop Dimitriy led the service in the St. Mark's Monastery. It's always nice to see a choir singing under the direction of someone in particular rather than just a "choir". I wonder if there were many brothers at the all-night service, because it's usually quiet on weekdays.

I am glad that Bishop Dimitriy was again in the St. Mark's Monastery. We rarely have this opportunity in London, so it's always nice to read about services like this. I wonder if the choir sang anything special at the Exaltation, or the usual carols?

The article says the choir was directed by someone specific, and Natalia's comment picked up on that too. I always notice when our choir director back home gives that little nod before the "Krestu Tvoyemu" on Exaltation — makes the whole service feel tighter. Wonder if they sang the special stichera for the Cross or stuck to the usual.
