It is good that Vladyka Demetrius served on this very day in honor of his heavenly patron. I remember that the first vice-rector of the seminary, Archpriest Konstantin Izofatov, concelebrated with him - it’s interesting how the seminarians later talked about it. In Nizhny, we also honored Demetrius of Rostov, especially his “Cheti-Minea”.

It is good that Vladyka Demetrius served on the day of his heavenly patron. I remember that among the co-workers was the first vice-rector of the seminary, Archpriest Konstantin Izofatov - I wonder if the seminarians later talked about this in class or not. In Minsk we have also always revered St. Demetrius of Rostov, especially his “Cheti-Minea”.
