On July 28, on the feast of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir, celebrated as the Day of the Baptism of Rus', the dean of the Furmanovsky district, Archpriest Vladimir Kozlov, together with parishioners of the deanery’s parishes, held a missionary event in the Summer Garden of the city of Furmanov. Participants in the event handed passers-by missionary booklets prepared by the Synodal Missionary Department and replicated by the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocese, talked about the spiritual significance of the Baptism of Rus and invited everyone to participate in church life.
