On August 19, on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga led the Divine Liturgy in the Transfiguration Church in the city of Ivanovo and a procession of the cross that passed through the territory of the church. He then blessed the fruits of the new harvest.

The Bishop was concelebrated by the secretary of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocesan Administration, the rector of the Transfiguration Church, Priest Georgy Vityazev, and the clergy of this church and the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo.

Nice liturgy, I would like to see the consecrated first apples and grapes. Father Georgy Vitjazev, the priest, certainly has it well prepared there, he always takes care of order. Thanks for the message from Ivanov.

Well at least the new Fruit were properly blessed. I liked that the priest Georgy Vitjazev was also mentioned, I know that he takes care of everything in order. In Berat we usually bring figs together with apples, but here it seems that it was a good year for grapes.
