Saint Euphémie thus strengthened the fathers of Chalcedon with her testimony. I always find that impressive, especially because she wasn't a theologian, but simply remained steadfast. Tonight I'm baking for the church choir, so I'll think of her.

Yes, St. Eufimija helped the fathers at the Parliament with her calm stand by the truth. She didn't preach, she just remained faithful. Here in Montenegro, we celebrate it on July 11 in the old way, and I always remember how my mother used to say that she is the "guardian of Orthodoxy". Thanks for the reminder, Monika.
