¹ But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and there shall no torment touch them.

² In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die: and their departure is taken for misery,

³ And their going from us to be utter destruction: but they are in peace.

⁴ For though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality.

⁵ And having been a little chastised, they shall be greatly rewarded: for God proved them, and found them worthy for himself.

⁶ As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, and received them as a burnt offering.

⁷ And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble.

⁸ They shall judge the nations, and have dominion over the people, and their Lord shall reign for ever.

⁹ They that put their trust in him shall understand the truth: and such as be faithful in love shall abide with him: for grace and mercy is to his saints, and he hath care for his elect.

¹⁵ But the righteous live for evermore; their reward also is with the Lord, and the care of them is with the most High.

¹⁶ Therefore shall they receive a glorious kingdom, and a beautiful crown from the Lord’s hand: for with his right hand shall he cover them, and with his arm shall he protect them.

¹⁷ He shall take to him his jealousy for complete armour, and make the creature his weapon for the revenge of his enemies.

¹⁸ He shall put on righteousness as a breastplate, and true judgment instead of an helmet.

¹⁹ He shall take holiness for an invincible shield.

²⁰ His severe wrath shall he sharpen for a sword, and the world shall fight with him against the unwise.

²¹ Then shall the right aiming thunderbolts go abroad; and from the clouds, as from a well drawn bow, shall they fly to the mark.

²² And hailstones full of wrath shall be cast as out of a stone bow, and the water of the sea shall rage against them, and the floods shall cruelly drown them.

²³ Yea, a mighty wind shall stand up against them, and like a storm shall blow them away: thus iniquity shall lay waste the whole earth, and ill dealing shall overthrow the thrones of the mighty.

¹ Hear therefore, O ye kings, and understand; learn, ye that be judges of the ends of the earth.

² Give ear, ye that rule the people, and glory in the multitude of nations.

³ For power is given you of the Lord, and sovereignty from the Highest, who shall try your works, and search out your counsels.

⁷ But though the righteous be prevented with death, yet shall he be in rest.

⁸ For honourable age is not that which standeth in length of time, nor that is measured by number of years.

⁹ But wisdom is the gray hair unto men, and an unspotted life is old age.

¹⁰ He pleased God, and was beloved of him: so that living among sinners he was translated.

¹¹ Yea speedily was he taken away, lest that wickedness should alter his understanding, or deceit beguile his soul.

¹² For the bewitching of naughtiness doth obscure things that are honest; and the wandering of concupiscence doth undermine the simple mind.

¹³ He, being made perfect in a short time, fulfilled a long time:

¹⁴ For his soul pleased the Lord: therefore hasted he to take him away from among the wicked.

¹⁵ This the people saw, and understood it not, neither laid they up this in their minds, That his grace and mercy is with his saints, and that he hath respect unto his chosen.

²⁷ كل شيء قد دفع اليّ من ابي. وليس احد يعرف الابن الا الآب. ولا احد يعرف الآب الا الابن ومن اراد الابن ان يعلن له.

²⁸ تعالوا اليّ يا جميع المتعبين والثقيلي الاحمال وانا اريحكم.

²⁹ احملوا نيري عليكم وتعلموا مني. لاني وديع ومتواضع القلب. فتجدوا راحة لنفوسكم.

³⁰ لان نيري هين وحملي خفيف

⁴ For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

⁵ So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

¹⁵ Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

¹⁶ Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

¹⁷ Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

¹⁸ If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

¹⁹ Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

²⁰ Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

²¹ Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

²² واما ثمر الروح فهو محبة فرح سلام طول اناة لطف صلاح ايمان

²³ وداعة تعفف. ضد امثال هذه ليس ناموس.

²⁴ ولكن الذين هم للمسيح قد صلبوا الجسد مع الاهواء والشهوات.

²⁵ ان كنا نعيش بالروح فلنسلك ايضا بحسب الروح.

²⁶ لا نكن معجبين نغاضب بعضنا بعضا ونحسد بعضنا بعضا

¹ ايها الاخوة ان انسبق انسان فأخذ في زلة ما فاصلحوا انتم الروحانيين مثل هذا بروح الوداعة ناظرا الى نفسك لئلا تجرب انت ايضا.

² احملوا بعضكم اثقال بعض وهكذا تمموا ناموس المسيح.

⁹ ثم انصرف من هناك وجاء الى مجمعهم.

¹⁰ واذا انسان يده يابسة. فسألوه قائلين هل يحل الابراء في السبوت. لكي يشتكوا عليه.

¹¹ فقال لهم اي انسان منكم يكون له خروف واحد فان سقط هذا في السبت في حفرة أفما يمسكه ويقيمه.

¹² فالانسان كم هو افضل من الخروف. اذا يحل فعل الخير في السبوت.

¹³ ثم قال للانسان مدّ يدك. فمدها. فعادت صحيحة كالاخرى

¹⁷ ونزل معهم ووقف في موضع سهل هو وجمع من تلاميذه وجمهور كثير من الشعب من جميع اليهودية واورشليم وساحل صور وصيدا الذين جاءوا ليسمعوه ويشفوا من امراضهم.

¹⁸ والمعذبون من ارواح نجسة. وكانوا يبرأون.

¹⁹ وكل الجمع طلبوا ان يلمسوه لان قوة كانت تخرج منه وتشفي الجميع

²⁰ ورفع عينيه الى تلاميذه وقال طوباكم ايها المساكين لان لكم ملكوت الله.

²¹ طوباكم ايها الجياع الآن لانكم تشبعون. طوباكم ايها الباكون الآن لانكم ستضحكون.

²² طوباكم اذا ابغضكم الناس واذا افرزوكم وعيّروكم واخرجوا اسمكم كشرير من اجل ابن الانسان.

²³ افرحوا في ذلك اليوم وتهللوا. فهوذا اجركم عظيم في السماء. لان آباءهم هكذا كانوا يفعلون بالانبياء.

¹ ثم دخل ايضا الى المجمع. وكان هناك رجل يده يابسة.

² فصاروا يراقبونه هل يشفيه في السبت. لكي يشتكوا عليه.

³ فقال للرجل الذي له اليد اليابسة قم في الوسط.

⁴ ثم قال لهم هل يحل في السبت فعل الخير او فعل الشر. تخليص نفس او قتل. فسكتوا.

⁵ فنظر حوله اليهم بغضب حزينا على غلاظة قلوبهم وقال للرجل مدّ يدك. فمدها فعادت يده صحيحة كالاخرى.

⁶ فخرج الفريسيون للوقت مع الهيرودسيين وتشاوروا عليه لكي يهلكوه

⁷ فانصرف يسوع مع تلاميذه الى البحر وتبعه جمع كثير من الجليل ومن اليهودية

⁸ ومن اورشليم ومن ادومية ومن عبر الاردن. والذين حول صور وصيدا جمع كثير اذ سمعوا كم صنع أتوا اليه.

⁹ فقال لتلاميذه ان تلازمه سفينة صغيرة لسبب الجمع كي لا يزحموه.

¹⁰ لانه كان قد شفى كثيرين حتى وقع عليه ليلمسه كل من فيه داء.

¹¹ والارواح النجسة حينما نظرته خرّت له وصرخت قائلة انك انت ابن الله.

¹² واوصاهم كثيرا ان لا يظهروه

¹³ ثم صعد الى الجبل ودعا الذين ارادهم فذهبوا اليه.

¹⁴ واقام اثني عشر ليكونوا معه وليرسلهم ليكرزوا.

¹⁵ ويكون لهم سلطان على شفاء الامراض واخراج الشياطين.

¹⁶ وجعل لسمعان اسم بطرس.

¹⁷ ويعقوب بن زبدي ويوحنا اخا يعقوب وجعل لهما اسم بوانرجس اي ابني الرعد.

¹⁸ واندراوس وفيلبس وبرثولماوس ومتى وتوما ويعقوب بن حلفى وتداوس وسمعان القانوي.

¹⁹ ويهوذا الاسخريوطي الذي اسلمه. ثم أتوا الى بيت.

²⁰ فاجتمع ايضا جمع حتى لم يقدروا ولا على اكل خبز.

²¹ ولما سمع اقرباؤه خرجوا ليمسكوه لانهم قالوا انه مختل.

²² واما الكتبة الذين نزلوا من اورشليم فقالوا ان معه بعلزبول. وانه برئيس الشياطين يخرج الشياطين.

²³ فدعاهم وقال لهم بامثال كيف يقدر شيطان ان يخرج شيطانا.

²⁴ وان انقسمت مملكة على ذاتها لا تقدر تلك المملكة ان تثبت.

²⁵ وان انقسم بيت على ذاته لا يقدر ذلك البيت ان يثبت.

²⁶ وان قام الشيطان على ذاته وانقسم لا يقدر ان يثبت بل يكون له انقضاء.

²⁷ لا يستطيع احد ان يدخل بيت قوي وينهب امتعته ان لم يربط القوي اولا وحينئذ ينهب بيته.

²⁸ الحق اقول لكم ان جميع الخطايا تغفر لبني البشر والتجاديف التي يجدفونها.

²⁹ ولكن من جدّف على الروح القدس فليس له مغفرة الى الابد بل هو مستوجب دينونة ابدية.

³⁰ لانهم قالوا ان معه روحا نجسا

³¹ فجاءت حينئذ اخوته وامه ووقفوا خارجا وارسلوا اليه يدعونه.

³² وكان الجمع جالسا حوله فقالوا له هوذا امك واخوتك خارجا يطلبونك.

³³ فاجابهم قائلا من امي واخوتي.

³⁴ ثم نظر حوله الى الجالسين وقال ها امي واخوتي.

³⁵ لان من يصنع مشيئة الله هو اخي واختي وامي
