Mother Teresa is right that almsgiving comes from closeness to God. Here in Plovdiv, the father from "St. Marina" often reminds us of the same thing when we collect for the old people's home. It is good that the Romanian Church is also doing so much - hopefully we, the Bulgarians, do not stop helping our neighbor, instead of just reading about it.
