Meeting of the commission on issues of interaction between parishes and educational institutions of the Central regiontranslated

With the blessing of His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, the chairman of the Information Department of the Gomel Diocese, Archpriest Oleg Kostroma, took part in a visiting meeting of the regional commission for assistance in monitoring the implementation of legislation on freedom of conscience and religious organizations under the administration of the Central District of Gomel. The meeting took place on July 29, 2026 at the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 72 in Gomel.”

The deputy head of the administration of the Central district of Gomel, chairman of the commission Nikolai Sergeevich Svetogor addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

The head of the education and sports department of the administration of the Central district of Gomel, Lyudmila Vladimirovna Krilistenko, made a report on the cooperation of preschool and general secondary education institutions in the region with the Orthodox parishes of the Gomel diocese in matters of spiritual and moral education.

The participants also reviewed the experience of interaction between institutions of secondary specialized and higher education with religious organizations in matters of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of students and students.
