On August 9, the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Tiraspol. Concelebrating with His Eminence Vladyka were hieromonks John (Traito) and Simeon (Lupashko), Deacon Gennady Gnatyuk and Deacon Grigory Martynov, who is undergoing liturgical practice. On this festive Sunday, numerous parishioners prayed during the divine service, who came to honor the memory of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon and take part in the general Sunday prayer. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, glorification was performed before the image of the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon. Archbishop Sava offered a prayer to the holy healer, asking for his intercession at the Throne of the Lord for the health of the sick, the strengthening of the weak, the consolation of the suffering and the granting of spiritual and physical strength to all believers.

The Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon, who lived in Nicomedia in the 3rd–4th centuries, received from God the gift of healing and freely helped all those in need. Having accepted martyrdom for confessing Christ, he became one of the most revered holy healers. His…
