A meeting with professor of church history Alexander Chermensky took place in Kolyubakinotranslated

On October 4, at the club in the village of Kolyubakino, Ruza municipal district, a meeting was held between parishioners of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin and residents of the village with professor of church history Alexander Evgenievich Chermensky. The meeting was organized by the Department of Culture of the Ruza Municipal District and the parish of the village of Kolyubakino.
Alexander Evgenievich spoke about the new martyrs: Metropolitan of Kiev Hieromartyr Vladimir (Epiphany; 1848–1918), Archbishop of Chernigov and Nizhyn Hieromartyr Vasily (1867–1918) and Bishop of Velikoluksky and Toropets Hieromartyr John of Troy (1862–1937). The lecturer also explained how the family lines of these saints were reflected in the history of his family.
The meeting showed that history is especially valuable when it is alive, when behind it there are living people and their actions. This is precisely the story, personal and at the same time common to everyone, that the guest presented during the lecture.
